Are you ready to lead the brand, marketing & communications strategy for a dynamic and entrepreneurial investment/funds management business?

Ampersand have partnered with a leader in its field, rapidly expanding into new markets across credit, equities, and real estate to appoint a Director of Marketing, Brand & Communications to amplify their profile in the market.

About the Role:

Reporting directly into the CEO, you will join this dynamic organisation to implement and execute the brand, marketing and communications strategy, driving brand equity and supporting their distribution and capital-raising goals. You'll lead a small team, oversee brand management, and implement innovative digital marketing, PR, and investor relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage brand strategy, positioning, and engagement activities.
  • Lead comprehensive marketing communications across all channels, including PR, events, digital marketing, social media, and content development.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and other members of the senior leadership team on strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee internal communications and employee engagement, working alongside People & Culture.
  • Manage investor-focused campaigns, digital marketing efforts, and industry engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary degree in Brand, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in a Brand, Marketing & Communications role, with experience in a Funds or Asset Management organisation
  • Proven track record in brand leadership, digital marketing, and strategic content development.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of driving initiatives and achieving results.
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Melbourne based as there is a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week
