About the Director of Clinical Services: The Director of Clinical Services operates as a part of the Executive team with key responsibility and accountability to ensure clinical teams provide a high standard of clinical service delivery and outcomes within budget, complying with relevant legislation and care standards. This position undertakes the role of Director of Nursing for the MPH site.


Some of the areas you will be responsible for:

• Strategic and operational clinical leadership that optimises patient safety, quality of care and experience, and operational efficiency
• Planning, overseeing delivery and evaluating: Clinical services which are consistent with recognised clinical best practice
• Compassionate patient care that reflects the vision, mission, and values of Maryvale Private Hospital
• Providing innovative and collaborative leadership to nurses and effectively leading change in a dynamic environment
• Contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives and helping to deliver strong performance across all key areas
• Leading and overseeing safe practices and risk management throughout the hospital
• Ensuring understanding of and compliance with all relevant national accreditation standards, quality management systems and competency standards
• Developing positive relationships with all clinicians.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Nursing qualifications and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
• Post-graduate qualifications in Health Services Management or related discipline (desirable)
• To be eligible for this role, you must have received three COVID-19 vaccinations
