Director of Food & Beverage

Job Description

Your Opportunity:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Food & Beverage departments, overseeing the restaurant, bars and gaming lounge, functions and in-room dining services.
• Manage all Food & Beverage operational aspects in collaboration with your leadership team.
• Work with the culinary leaders to implement innovative menus and beverage programs that meet market demands and exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue through effective pricing, promotion, and inventory management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of culinary and service professionals.
• Engage your teams with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Food & Beverage team.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing feedback and implementing corrective actions promptly.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior food and beverage management role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field advantageous.
• Proven track record of successful team leadership and Food & Beverage innovation
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of current industry trends and a passion for excellence.
