About the role
The Director of Regulatory Services leads the statewide compliance programs and specialist functions supporting frontline regulatory operations. Reporting to the Executive Director Operations, this role oversees technical services, emergency coordination, and compliance projects aligned with EPA's strategic priorities. It provides authoritative advice on complex governance, audit, and risk management issues, and builds the capability of environment protection teams across Victoria, ensuring a high-performing workforce that reduces environmental harm. About you
You are a proven people leader with extensive strategic regulatory experience. You inspire and motivate teams. You have deep knowledge of environmental regulation related to pollution and waste and excel in delivering statewide initiatives. Your strategic mindset, sound judgement, and high ethical standards drive quality decisions and innovative solutions.
