Oversee and reduce friction in the execution of SMB priorities across cross-functional teams, including: Sales and Inside Sales Marketing Partnerships Product & Product Marketing Pricing Risk, Compliance & Legal Customer Support Provide leadership and hands-on coordination of global and local cross-functional commercial initiatives Establish regular operating cadences to review performance, track progress, and course-correct as needed Ensure strong alignment across all local stakeholders behind a single, integrated SMB plan 10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Own the financial performance of the Australian SMB portfolio, including revenue growth, profitability, and customer expansion Identify and assess SMB customer needs, market trends, and changes in the competitive and regulatory landscape Develop, propose, and implement strategic and tactical changes to improve performance or respond to evolving market conditions Lead and develop the local SMB team Analyze, interpret, and communicate SMB performance and insights to regional and global leadership Share best practices and insights with SMB leaders in other markets and collaborate on global SMB initiatives 10+ years of experience in business strategy, commercial management, or related leadership roles Strong understanding of the Australian SMB ecosystem, including payments, eCommerce, and omnichannel commerce Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives through influence rather than formal authority Strong strategic and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Experience developing business cases, sizing opportunities, and presenting recommendations to senior executives Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching and developing high-performing teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services Experience developing and executing partner strategies MBA or equivalent advanced degree
