Disability Support Worker - Hiring Immediately

My Support My Way is a registered NDIS service provider in South Australia and Victoria. MSMW provides support to the individuals those who have multiple disability (Mental Health/ Challenging behavior/ emotional regulation in common) we focus on holistic model of care and skill development. MSMW will work with individual to setup tailor support when and how the individual would like them to deliver.

• Helping and guiding clients to develop their independent daily living skills
• Providing care for people who have complex and challenging needs in terms of their   behaviour and emotional, psychological, and developmental well-being.
• Assistance in the meal preparation for clients
• Accompanying client community access, social events
• Providing general care and emotional support to resident
• Daily documentations (case notes, and other recording charts
• Medication Administration
• Implementing person centered approach
• Coordination with team members
• Complex Behavior handling experience “Intellectual Disability, Autism spectrum, Dementia and Mental health” repetitive behavior, Depression, Bipolar disorder & borderline personality disorder”
• Epilepsy clients

We are looking for Casual and Permanent Part time staff to work with our Clients in Mount Barker and Murray bridge areas. 

Essential Criteria

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support, Disability Care, or relevant field
• DCSI police Clearance or Working with Children Check
• Valid Australian drivers license
• The right to work in Australia
• Medication Competent Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Manual Handling
