Tasks & responsibilities

• Provide support to NDIS participants with mental health, Physical, psychosocial and intellectual disabilities
• Assist with personal care, transportation and help with independent living skills
• Administer and document medication and follow health support plans
• Manage behaviour triggers and escalation
• Ensure your safety and the safety of the participants
• Adequate Documentation and Reporting
• Assisting participants to attend medical and therapy appointments
• Engaging with participants in conversation and fun activities

Essential Criteria

• NDIS worker Screening Check and Police Check
• First aid/CPR
• Full driver’s licence
• NDIS orientation and induction modules completion
• Willingness to learn and provide quality support
• Up to date Covid vaccinations
• Available to fulfil a rotating roster including weekends and nights

Desirable but not essential

• Experience in Disability or Aged Care Sector
• Cert III or higher in individual support/ aged care/ community services
