Position Overview: As a Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in providing personalized care and assistance to our clients. Whether it's helping with daily tasks, offering emotional support, or promoting social inclusion, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support individuals with household chores and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement.
• Help clients access community resources and participate in social activities.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to supervisors.
• Provide Clients with implemented behaviour Strategies as outlined in PBP’s.

Requirements:

• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Awesome time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in caregiving or support work preferred, Northside of Brisbane preferred.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.

 Qualifications, Licenses & Certificates 

• NDIS Screening Card (Must have or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Must have or willing to obtain)
• Blue Card (Must have or willing to obtain)
• A valid Queensland Driver License - minimum P2 Green (Must have)
• Evidence of your Right to Work in Australia (Must have)
• Reliable vehicle with Comprehensive insurance for Transporting clients (we offer KM reimbursement)
