Seven Miles Coffee Company are a growing coffee roasting, equipment and service business with several sites across Australia.  We are looking for a casual Dispatch & Production Assistant to work in our Wollongong Roastery.

Hours of operation 6am-7pm Monday - Friday.

Key Accountabilities in the Role:

• Operate production machinery effectively and safely, within WHS requirements.
• Package goods by operating packing machinery, box and label finished product, palletise and load into storage.
• Deliver quality roasted coffee to specification and recipe standards, including GB weight, conducting sample tests and temperature adjustments.
• Assist in the Roastery Door (Cafe), or Warehouse as required
• Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety requirements, policies, procedures and all SOPs.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
• Ensure procedures required by certification bodies (e.g. Organic, Fair Trade, HACCP) are being followed.
• Any other operations duties as may be required from time to time.

 Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

• Can work effectively alone or in a team
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure all products are packaged correctly
• Interest in coffee, personally or professionally
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Customer-focused mindset
