We're on the lookout for an experienced Outbound Team Leader to oversee and optimise the efficient and accurate distribution of orders across our online and retail channel.
Reporting to the Outbound Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving team performance, improving processes, and delivering outstanding customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and support a team across picking, packing, issues and replenishment.
- Coordinate daily operational tasks to ensure KPIs and service levels are exceeded.
- Ensure timely dispatch of all online orders via appropriate carriers.
- Manage and respond to customer and retail order-related queries within 48 hours.
- Monitor outbound packaging inventory to maintain optimal supply levels.
- Review and enhance SOPs quarterly to drive performance and compliance.
- Minimise order cuts, oversells, and inventory issues.
- Provide training, ongoing coaching, and regular performance feedback to your team.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and regular 1:1s to foster safety, engagement, and productivity.
- Support special projects and initiatives as required by management.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A natural motivator who thrives on team development and operational excellence
