Dog handlers - boarding & daycare - Rapid Progression

Casual part-time positions are available in our business that operates every day of the year.  

Tara Estate offers multiple services within the business which means you will have opportunities to do a range of different types of work and have variation in your daily job. Some responsibilities include:

• Caring for our dogs or cats & enriching their overall experience in either a boarding or daycare environment (for dogs). This includes feeding, cleaning, exercising & updates about their stay
• Possible reception work
• Providing updates to clients on their pet's stay in boarding
• Supervising and handling groups of dogs in daycare
• Contributing to Tara's social media presence including taking photos and videos

A willingness and ability to be flexible with working hours & weekend work is required.

Maintaining our high standards by upholding the policies, procedures & standard practices is paramount.

Experience in the companion animal industry is highly preferred, however, we can provide all training required. You will need to be:

• Efficient
• Reliable
• Be able to work alone
• Show initiative
• Show attention to detail
• And be comfortable and confident with all sizes and breeds of dogs

There are opportunities to progress within the business and take on more supervisor/management roles.

This a dynamic, high energy and rewarding role. You will need to be fit, hands on, detail oriented, observant, calm and lead by example. A can do attitude is a must.
