Doggy Daycare Attendant - Career Growth Potential

Pet Resorts Australia provide first class accommodation and services for cats and dogs, priding ourselves in quality customer care. We also offer pet transport along with several other great services. 

Our fantastic team is on the search for a hardworking and passionate individual to join our very successful team. 

The position will be not limited to; 

Socialising multiple dogs, match groups according to behaviour and personality, cleaning animal enclosures, exercising and providing enrichment and husbandry for animals (primarily dogs and cats), feeding and general care for the animals, driving pet transport vans and office duties to name a few. 

Available vacancies at this time are as follows:

• Kennel Attendant, Casual Position – up to 5 shifts per week that may increase at peak times. You must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and throughout every NSW school holiday period. 
• Doggy Daycare Attendant, Casual Position – up to 5 shifts per week.

Essential pre-requisites for these roles are:

• Must be comfortable with handling multiple dogs & cats with varying size and temperament.
• Superior customer service skills
• Commitment to work weekends and holiday periods (inc. Xmas day and New Year)
• Australian citizen or permanent resident

Desirable skills and experience include:

• 12 months or more of experience within an animal related industry
• Animal husbandry 
• Strong understanding of reading & understanding dog behaviour
• Knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures
• Excellent face to face and written communication skills
• Ability or scope to learn reservation programs
• Aptitude for training and learning
• Ability to perform unsupervised as well as part of a team
