Draftsperson

Quick Release (QR_) is a subsidiary of Alten Group located in Australia. Alten Group is a worldwide leader in Engineering services (54,000+ employees) with operations in 30 different countries.

We’re a global actor with a local presence with committed engineers working across the country. Our engineers carry out complex and highly technical projects throughout the product development chain of the most prestigious companies in sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Manufacturing, Public Sector and Life Sciences.

QR_ is currently expending its activity in Australia and we are looking for a Draftsperson join our team starting in August 2023.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide status updates of assigned tasks at to relevant stakeholders in either verbal or written form
• Deliver milestone tasks within budgeted costs and schedule
• Identify areas of process improvement and seek to implement agreed changes

Must have:

• 3+ years' experience as a draftsperson
• Demonstrated experience working with CAD software
• Drafting to DEF(AUST)5085, AS1100, AS/NZS 1102
• Geometric Tolerancing
• Drafting (Assemblies, Parts Lists, Parts etc.)
• Ability to collaborate with the rest of the team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Eligibility for security clearance is required

Nice to have:

• Experience using Siemens NX
• Experience in using Teamcenter
• Drafting qualification e.g. Technical Certificate in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Defence industry experience
