Are you a skilled Drilling Engineer based in Brisbane or looking to return home to Queensland? Zenith Energy is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and motivated professionals who want to be considered for upcoming drilling projects in the region.

As a well engineering and drilling consultancy, we support operators across Australia and the Asia Pacific region and are always looking to connect with strong talent ahead of project ramp-ups.

About the Opportunity

This is an open call for expressions of interest. While we don’t currently have a live position, we expect new drilling and well engineering scopes to commence in the near future across Queensland. We’re building a pipeline of qualified professionals so we can respond quickly when our clients mobilise new work.

Typical scopes may include:

• Onshore and offshore well planning and design
  




• Drilling execution support
  




• Regulatory submissions and approvals
  




• Cost and time estimation
  




• Engineering assurance and peer reviews
  




• Interface management with service providers and field teams
  

Who We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualifications in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline
  




• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Drilling Engineering role
  




• Familiarity with Australian regulatory frameworks (e.g., QLD / NOPSEMA)
  




• Experience across well design, planning, and execution
  




• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
  




• Based in or able to relocate to Brisbane
