The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is looking for a HR Truck Driver to join our friendly close knit team in Paget 4740. Driving a variety of vehicles including hook-lift, front-lift and liquid waste trucks. In this role you will work in the region supporting the collection of waste for our commercial contracts. 

Full-time Permanent Position

Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Working on secure long term contracts collecting waste and recyclables 
• Collection and transportation of multiple waste streams to disposal locations
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders 
• Ability to learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment

What you'll need to be successful:

• HR licence as a minimum requirement
• Good geographical knowledge of Mackay and surrounding suburbs
• Ability to learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment
• Attention to detail for all paperwork
• Safety conscious mindset
• Dedicated to providing high standards of customer service
• Ability to start early and available for weekend roster
