We are seeking a passionate and driven Duty Manager to lead from the front and deliver cousu main service experiences that are uniquely Sofitel – thoughtful, personalised, and effortlessly elegant.

As Duty Manager, you’ll be the face of the hotel – a confident, calm, and capable presence across our Front Office operations. With your finger on the pulse of daily activity, you'll create seamless experiences for our guests and be a go-to leader for our front-of-house teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion exceptional guest experiences, ensuring every interaction is warm, efficient, and memorable
• Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office, Guest Services, and Concierge teams
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and flair
• Support the allocation of rooms and amenities to maximise guest satisfaction and hotel performance
• Drive the Front Desk loyalty performance while promoting revenue generating opportunities and upsells
• Assist in the team training, coaching and development, nurturing a culture of excellence
• Work closely with the leadership team to elevate standards and drive continuous improvement

What you will bring to the role:

• 2+ years’ experience in a Front Office leadership role, ideally within a luxury hotel setting
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to lead and inspire
• A calm, solutions-focused mindset with strong emotional intelligence
• Proficiency in Front Office systems – Opera Cloud experience highly regarded
• Valid QLD RSA and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
