Duty Manager - Positive Work Culture

Zagame’s Caulfield Hotel are now recruiting for a Duty Manager to join the professional and friendly team.

About the role...

We require a Duty manager who is passionate, well present and a hand’s on manager who delivers a 10/10 experience for our team and guests. Working closely with the Venue Manager, together you will take ownership of the hotel overseeing all departments, motivating, and coaching our team.

As a Duty Manager you will:

• Be a part of the team, creating a fun & inviting atmosphere for our customers.
• Be energetic, upbeat, driven and be passionate about and create exceptional gaming experiences.
• Actively inspire, encourage, coach and assist.
• Need to be flexible as you will work rostered shifts including days, nights and weekends.
• Supervising security arrangements, and property maintenance
• Planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function, and conference activities in conjunction with Restaurant manager and Venue Manager
• Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
• Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities
• Assist in Stock Controls and reconciliations, including stock ordering.
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and observing liquor, gaming, cash handling procedures and other laws and regulations.

About you...

• Most importantly have a can do attitude.
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Gaming and TAB.
• You must hold a current Gaming License, RSA, RSG and Cash Controllers license.
• Proven 2-3 years relevant Management experience.
• A successful candidate should have a Diploma in management, Hospitality, or a similar field.

Wage: $70,000 P/A + Super
