Early Childhood (Kindergarten) Teacher

At our Jandowae centre we are looking for an early childhood teacher to join our team. Your role is part-time. You would be required to teach the kindergarten children during Kindergarten days -  Tuesdays and Wednesdays during school term. (2 days/week).  You will be supported by our centre director and our educational leader.

Relocate to our beautiful town and experience the beauty and hospitality of Western Queensland. Jandowae is located 294km West of Brisbane; a short 35 minutes drive from Dalby.

Jandowae ELC is the only Early Learning and Child Care service in Jandowae, where a small team create a homely and caring environment for children aged 2-3 years of age to learn and thrive.

You will:

Have Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA 

Have a Current Working with Children Check

Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Be confident to lead a classroom environment

Have a sound understanding of the EYLF, Qld Kindergarten Guidelines and NQF

Have proven ability to work within a small team.

Your Role:

Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with children, educators, families to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of your program and flexible routines.

Provide creative learning experiences in both our spacious outdoor environment and well-resourced playroom..

You will have knowledge of the EYLF, transition statements and understand of the NQF/NQS and work in compliance with all regulations to meet the high standards.

Build strong relationships with the local community.
