Job Description - eCommerce and Marketing Coordinator

The role

Working closely with the eCommerce Director and the broader eCommerce team, collaboratively and creatively with UMA labels and teams, and with global UMG eCommerce, the eCommerce & Marketing executive is responsible for supporting best practice functions and optimisation eCommerce operations across artist campaigns, stores & brand marketing activities.

Key day to day tasks will centre on assisting to execute launches & product management of campaigns across the Universal catalogue & departmental administrative tasks. The role will also work closely on creating content to execute eCommerce/brand marketing activity across projects.

eCommerce

  • Manage set up & information collection for assigned projects
  • Assist the eCommerce team with administrative tasks including scheduling, purchase order management, invoice payments, reporting requests
  • Liaison with global D2C stakeholders regarding assigned artist campaigns.
  • Works with eCommerce team to identify & test optimisation activations.
  • Works closely with the eCommerce store manager & operations manager to ensure listings and stock are merchandised appropriately & shipped in line with deadlines.

Marketing & Creative

  • Creates & executes content across brand socials, paid spend & where required assist eCommerce team in creation of campaign assets (content for website, EDM, ads) pending business requirements
  • Works closely with wider commercial team to understand, optimize and activate digital marketing & acquisition opportunities across the customer funnel & artist/brand stores.
  • With assistance from eCommerce Manager & Director, act as key custodian of brand store socials – creating content and/or repurposing content for our channels and ensuring brand guide is upheld
  • Performance reporting across activity
  • At times assisting the e-commerce team to brief in product & create assets for artist stores.
  • With the eCommerce manager & director, develop content shoot mood boards / plans for approval & assist in managing content shoots.
  • Ensure marketing spend is optimised as allocated
  • Analyse customer insights & trends, industry best practice & run regular competitor analysis, to build recommendations and strategic tentpoles

About you

  • 2+ years’ experience in eCommerce
  • Experience in a fan first/ customer centric digital/ eCommerce environment
  • Demonstrated content creation skillset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to create excellent working relationships
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Intermediate experience in Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Premiere Pro)
  • Experienced in digital marketing (SEM, SEO, Online Advertising, Social Media)
