Manage task and project allocation within the Editorial team.
Contribute original writing across feature articles, profiles, and special projects.
Collaboration
Oversee the editorial workflow from commissioning through to publication, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness.
Work closely with the Design, Digital and Production teams to deliver integrated stories that span multiple media formats.
Collaborate with the Partnerships team on client content, maintaining editorial integrity while meeting client objectives.
Manage relationships with freelance writers, editors, and contributors across regions, fostering a strong creative network.
Partner and support our US Editor as we continue to expand our North American presence.
Brand
Take a proactive role in shaping the evolution of lifestyle, design, and architecture content across platforms.
Uphold consistency and adherence to our established style guide and brand identity.
Keep informed of competitor publications and industry trends to identify opportunities and maintain a leading editorial presence.
Contribute to the ongoing refinement of editorial strategy, offering insights to improve process and quality.
Operations
Build and optimise workflows to deliver content at pace and scale.
Oversee budgets and resources, maintain strict control of subcontractor spend.
Introduce systems for database management, commissioning and freelancer onboarding.
What you’ll bring...
5-10+ years’ experience in an editorial role within publishing, media, or design/lifestyle content.
Demonstrated experience commissioning, editing, and producing high-quality print and digital content.
Leadership or mentoring experience with small teams or contributors.
Exemplary editing, copywriting, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
Collaborative approach and comfort working cross-functionally with creative and commercial teams.
Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with CMS tools and production workflows.
