Whispering Gully is family owned with genuine and caring centre owners with long term ties to Jindabyne and in extension of this, a caring and supportive Nominated Supervisor.

Position Summary:

• Facilitate our philosophy through engaging and relevant learning opportunities and meaningful creative and imaginative experiences
• Utilise a multifaceted approach to education which includes focusing on developing each child’s personality, as well as their mental health, emotional wellbeing, physical health, social skills and holistic wellbeing
• Document and program plan for each child using our online learning platform
• Develop and maintain positive and nurturing relationships with children and respond appropriately to their physical and emotional needs
• Apply your knowledge of the National Quality Standards and comply with Whispering Gully curriculum

Essential Requirements:

• Passion, happiness and strong work ethic
• Ability to show up for our children and team
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or currently studying, or willingness to enrol.
• Current Paid Working with Children Check in New South Wales and Children Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to build rapport and create positive relationships with team members, children and families
• Passion to provide safe, quality education to the next generation of children

Desired Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Food Safety Certificates (or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience with Xplor or similar software
