Ekka Sales & Stores Assistants

EKKA 2024 is back & we're looking for superstar Sales & Stores Assistants to work the Showbag Pavillion.

We are looking for juniors to work at the EKKA. Commencing in August 2024 and running for the duration of the show, we are looking for staff for the following areas:

• Showbag stands (Sales)
• Emporium stalls (Sales)
• Labourers/Stores (Back of house)

Key skills required include:

• SALES STAFF: we are looking for good customer service skills, friendly nature, and MUST have experience with cash registers/EFT machines. Prior experience working in fast food restaurants, retail or supermarkets is ideal.
• LABOURERS/STORES STAFF: must be fit and able to do manual handling. You will be working in a very busy environment with a small team, so you will have to be keen to work, mature and be self-motivated. Prior experience working in a warehousing/stock role or in bar/events is ideal for this role.
• All successful juniors must be available for the full duration of the EKKA - 10th to 18th August 2024 as well as the day before (Friday 9th August) for Induction.
