We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to start ASAP at Crestmead. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently assembling and fitting parts for Meat Machinery product, as well as the maintenance and repair of product on an as needs basis.

What will you be doing?

• Undertake preparation and assembly operations in accordance with operational procedures and work instructions at all times
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements prior to commencing all projects
• Observe and inspect machines and tools to ensure proper functioning, including starting and operating production/warehousing machinery, and overseeing correct operation to ensure safe and effective use
• Conduct and record an inspection of completed products. Check finished products for proper compliance, and measure and test assembly of finished parts to ensure accurate construction – all tasks are completed within Thompson Meat Machinery quality standards
• Respond within 24 hours to fault notifications
• Undertake other production tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor on an as needs basis
