Electrical Fitter

Morlec Electrical is a well established company providing over 30 years experience in motor repairs, rewinds, supplies, pump overhauls, pump supplies, laser alignment & maintenance services to a number of industries including industrial plants, water & waste water, air conditioning, HVAC, refrigeration & portable generators.

Due to our steady growth we are currently seeking an experienced electrical fitter/rewinder to work in our Underwood workshop. A strong background in motors, pumps & assembly/disassembly will be very advantageous. 

We Require:

• Electrical Fitters
• Mechanical Fitters
• Motor Rewinders

The roles:
Trade qualified essential with experience in motors & pumps. The role is a workshop based role. Workshop hours are 7.00am - 3.00pm. 

Tasks include:

• Carry out testing of electrical equipment. 
• Conduct strip, assessment, reporting, modification and repairs on motors, pumps, mixers & general plant and equipment.
• Carry out mechanical assembly of rotating equipment.
• Ability to work with computers i.e. ipads or tablets.
• Good reading, numeracy, communication and problem solving skills.
• Current driver's licence.
• Operate forklift (advantageous). 
• Ability to work as part of a team.
