Our growing team of aviation specialists provides support to our clients in the areas of aerodrome design, project management and construction, maintenance, technical inspections and aerodrome surveys, operational readiness, airport security, training, regulatory compliance, audits, and ongoing daily operations. 

About the Role 

AMS has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team. Working closely with our Engineering, Electrical and Logistics departments you will oversee the delivery of airfield lighting system projects. You will be tasked with engaging with clients, estimating costs, managing resources and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a great opportunity to head dynamic projects within a collaborative team environment as a part of a well-established, industry leader. Based at our head office near Perth airport you will regularly travel to site throughout project construction. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the delivery of projects, namely aerodrome and airfield lighting systems 
• Engaging clients to establish key requirements and project scope
• Developing quotes, project plans and delivery documentation 
• Coordinating all aspects of project delivering including planning, resource allocation and supervision
• Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations 
• Tracking and reporting project execution on an ongoing basis with key stakeholders 
• Ensuring project financials are maintained and managed as forecasted 

About You

AMS will provide ongoing training and professional development to support this next step in your career, but you’ll already be off to a great start if you have previous experience in the following areas:

• Hold a relevant trade or tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) 
• Proven project management experience 
• Demonstrated experience managing staff and contractors 
• High level communication and customer service skills
• High level business and commercial acumen
