Project Manager:

Stellar recruitments are seeking Electrical Project Managers to work on commercial and infrastructure projects throughout Brisbane for a key client of ours. The ideal candidate will bring a diverse Electrical background with a professional, go-getting initiative and experience delivering a range of electrical projects from commencement to completion across the commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure industries. This role will have components of either commercial project and/or preventative & reactive maintenance projects for existing company clients.

About You:
Key skills and attributes required for the role:

• Experience in delivering commercial and fit out style projects
• Diploma or Degree in Project Management is desirable
• Unrestricted Manual QLD Drivers Licence
• QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence 
• Practical IT knowledge and previous experience utilising project-related software.
• Full Australian working rights 
• The ability to coordinate multiple project teams simultaneously, prioritise and delegate tasks.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and the confidence in your skills to make decisions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with internal and external customers, industry suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask to meet rapidly changing requirements and deadlines.
• Motivated team player who is passionate about the electrical field and able to confidently lead others effectively execute tasks safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver (but not limited to) commercial and fit out style projects
• Uphold excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Spearhead the organisation and completion of projects and project management process from the commissioning to final completion.
• Responsible for building relationships with an existing client base.
• Drive project safety culture and implement continuous improvements.
• Project setup, program schedules, budget, and procurement.
• Ensure projects are proactively managed, providing a high level of communication with clients, employees, and contractors on site.
• Coordinate trades in line with site accessibility and project schedules.
• Effective management of resources including close monitoring of material, labour allowances and subcontractors.
