Electrical Service Technician

We are a market leader in the automation supply industry and have been established for over 40 years. We are currently taking applications to join our dedicated service team.

As an Electrical Service Technician, you will carry out service work, troubleshooting, repairs and installations of our products in our customers premises

• Applicants with or the ability to obtain a Queensland Contractors Licence will be looked on favorably 
• Full training and course fees will be provided.
• Do you have a willingness to learn and possess a good work ethic?
• Can you identify faults with electro-mechanical systems and find solutions?

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence
• A minimum 2 years experience in a similar service role
• Experience with automation  systems, electronics, and mechanical assemblies highly desirable
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and an understanding of circuits
• High attention to detail and takes pride in quality of work
• Professional with great communication skills and an ability to build rapport with clients
• Be a team player and a customer service champion
• Manual driver's licence

Tasks will include:

• Examining and testing equipment to diagnose faults
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and maintaining equipment
• Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
• Installing small motors and control systems
• Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, equipment in commissioning and maintaining systems
• participate in our after hours roster
