We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage the maintenance operations across our town, village, and non-process infrastructure facilities. If you have a strong background in facilities management and a passion for safety and leadership, this is the perfect opportunity to make an even bigger impact in your current role.

With Sodexo, you’ll continue to work with Australia’s largest provider of services in the energy and resources sector, but now you’ll be playing a key part in elevating our maintenance operations and delivering top-quality services to our clients.

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO from Perth.

Job Description

Lead Your Team: Guide and mentor a talented multi-disciplinary maintenance team, driving both safety and efficiency.

 

Oversee Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained to the highest standards for safe operation across our facilities.

 

Maintain High Standards: Ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards in line with company policies and industry regulations.

 

Schedule & Report: Develop maintenance schedules, track tasks, and maintain accurate logs of all activities.

 

Preventative Focus: Lead the execution of proactive maintenance strategies to minimise unscheduled downtime.

 

Safety Compliance: Manage work permits, ensuring all safety and environmental regulations are followed to protect the team and facilities.

 

Strong Relationships: Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing their needs and resolving maintenance issues promptly.

 

Inspections & Audits: Regularly assess facility conditions, providing actionable recommendations for improvements.

 

Manage Projects: Lead small to medium-sized projects to completion on time and within budget, maintaining high-quality standards.

 

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure operations are compliant with local regulations and mitigate risks through effective management.

Financial Performance: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives to boost profitability.

 

Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and support to your team, ensuring skill development and top-notch performance.

 

Stock Management: Oversee inventory to ensure adequate spare parts are available for critical assets.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

Well-Rounded Technical Knowledge: Expertise in domestic maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Team Management Experience: Proven ability to manage diverse teams in a multi-trade environment.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and systems like Microsoft D365.

Strong Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.

Leadership Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to inspire and lead a team towards success.

Attention to Detail: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Electrical Trade Qualification: A Grade Electrical Workers License.

Schedule 26 Compliance: Familiar with regulations for the energy and resources sector.

WA Electrical Contractors License: Highly desirable.

Police Clearance: Must be able to pass a background check.

Driver’s License: C Class manual required.

Experience: At least 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role with a focus on facilities management.

Technical Expertise: Background in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems is essential.

Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in town/village/non-process infrastructure is highly desirable.
