The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Auto Electrical Tradesperson to join the maintenance crew at Pembroke Resource’s new autonomous mine in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.Pembroke Resource’s Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres South-East of Moranbah, which commenced mining operations mid-2023. Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full-service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul, water management and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure.About The RoleBy joining our team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a new workforce that is focused on developing a strong performance culture and a culture that values everyone’s contribution equally. As an Auto Electrical Tradesperson, you will be required to: Maintain a fleet of Haul Trucks and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedulesServicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systemsReading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systemsAttending in-field breakdowns and repairing faults safely and efficientlyCreate detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairsCAT and Liebherr experience desirable. About youAs a successful applicant, you’ll be a high-achieving safety-focused individual who?enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment.
