About the Role 

You will be responsible for Camp Maintenance working at the Nifty Copper Project and maintain all camp and mine site Non-Processing Infrastructure electrical systems & networks, communications, air-conditioning, refrigeration and general buildings and facilities infrastructure in compliance with all statutory laws, Macmahon Contractors Pty Ltd (the Company) and Cyprium Metals Limited (the Client) standards and expectations to assist the Company in achieving its overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Perform all general camp maintenance duties to a high standard including NPI electrical systems & networks, communications, air-conditioning, refrigeration and general buildings and facilities infrastructure water supply, wastewater, gas fitting and provide support to other departments as required


• Ensure that operational schedules are met in accordance with operational planning  


• Complete regular stocktakes and maintain a reasonable and appropriate inventory of spare parts 


• Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify Manager when faults are identified

What You’ll Bring  

• Relevant Australian recognised Electrical trade qualification.


• Refrigeration technical qualification including HVAC and refrigeration systems


• High Risk Work Licenses such as Elevating Work Platform, Forklift, Vehicle Loading Crane, Dogman


• Working at Heights


• Confined Space Certification


• Current Australian C Class Driver’s License


• Good understanding of HSEQ standards, rules and procedures


• Effective and respectful interpersonal communication skills


• Be able and prepared to perform all duties as required

List desirable:

• General camp maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing and or gas fitting.


• HR Driver’s License 


• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
