Join our team as an Electrician - Water & Wastewater Operations

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and repairing electrical, control and instrumentation systems across water and wastewater infrastructure.


• Performing fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance on critical operational assets.


• Monitoring and supporting SCADA, telemetry and automated control systems while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.


• Collaborating with operators, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient and environmentally responsible outcomes.

Skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience in industrial electrical maintenance, with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical, control and instrumentation systems.


• A self-motivated and safety-focused approach, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities and respond effectively in a dynamic operational environment.


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Who we are:

Eligibility:

• 
  
  You'll hold an Australian trade qualification as an Electrician.
  
  


• 
  
  You'll have a current C Class Driver Licence (or above).
  
  


• You'll be available to participate in the Water & Waste Operations after-hours on-call roster, including weekends and public holidays.


• You'll have the ability to attain and maintain a Confined Space Entry Ticket.


• You'll be able to successfully complete Functional Capacity Assessments Class B and C and maintain immunisations appropriate for working in a wastewater environment.


• Working at Heights certification and a Certificate III or IV in Electrical Instrumentation are desirable but not essential.


• To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
