Electrician/Data Technician

Lead Group is looking for an experienced Electrician/ Data Technician. You will be in charge of several different duties in this position, such as maintenance, field repairs, commissioning, and installation. Both individually and in a group, you'll offer our customers technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Install conduits, ladders, and containment systems.
• Install and terminate power, control, and data cabling.
• Test and troubleshoot data systems.
• Install and test structured cabling (fiber & copper).
• Understand AC/DC power systems.
• Valid driver's license & travel willingness (as needed).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of AC/DC power systems (preferred: ACMA Open Cable Registration).
• Experience with fiber & copper installation/testing/fault finding (preferred).
• Commitment to safety (OH&S).
• Ability to work independently & collaboratively.
• National Police Clearance Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Preferred: 

• Data Center experience.
• Strong computer and operating system knowledge.
