Job Title: Electricians Date Posted: 24/04/2024 Location: Newcastle Share | |Email this job Maxwell Recruitment are seeking skilled Electricians from ALL BACKGROUNDS , for multiple workshops in the Kooragang and Thornton area as well as site maintenance across multiple Newcastle Industrial sites. Great Casual Pay Rates + Penalties Immediate Start Available Temp-Perm Opportunities The work ranges from overhauling HV enclosures, electrical maintenance and upgrades on hard rock and mining equipment, as well as switchboard installations and electrical work on transportable buildings. Kooragang Positions (Workshop): In this role you will be working on demountable buildings, large switchrooms and substations. Pay Rate $49.83/hr + Penalties- 5 day weeks with potential Saturdays on offer. You will be required to conduct the following: Control Panel Termination Cabling Switchboard Wiring Panel Wiring Roughing in for lighting and power Thornton Positions (Workshop): In this role, you will be working on underground mining equipment, both servicing and upgrading equipment for hard rock and coal mines. Pay Rate $50.04/hr + Penalties - 4 day weeks You will be required to conduct the following: Electrical diagnostics and repairs Interpreting schematics Panel Wiring Flameproof upgrades and repairs Servicing to mobile underground mining equipment Mayfield West (Site Work): In this role, you will working on a range of industrial sites across the Hunter.
