About the Role

Are you a hands‑on electronics technician who enjoys fault‑finding and fixing real problems?
Due to additional project demands, we’re looking for an Electronic Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team at our Newington site. This role spans both the workshop and production floor and is ideal for someone who enjoys repairs, testing and working to clear procedures in a safety‑focused environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Repairing, testing and maintaining electronic components


• Fault‑finding and diagnosing issues using schematics and technical manuals


• Supporting simulator production activities in the workshop and on the production floor


• Completing accurate maintenance records, test results and documentation


• Using electronic test equipment and tools (ensuring calibration and compliance)


• Identifying recurring faults and supporting continuous improvement


• Working safely and following company, quality and regulatory requirements


• Sharing knowledge and supporting other technicians when needed

About You

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III in Electronics & Communications


• Experience in a maintenance or workshop environment


• Ability to read schematics, drawings and maintenance documentation


• Good written and verbal communication skills


• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)


• Understanding of working in a regulated or quality‑controlled environment


• Ability to obtain a Defence security clearance (if required)

Desirable

• Certificate IV Aeroskills (Avionics)
