To ensure these processes run smoothly and we consistently deliver high quality products, we’re looking for a multi-talented Production Support and Service Technician with a can-do attitude.

Job Summary:

As the Production Support and Service Technician, you'll be instrumental in providing engineering support for products that have transitioned to production. From resolving production issues to repairing failed products and contributing to test procedures, you'll play a vital role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you'll oversee the design and development of small engineering jobs and provide chargeable repair services for customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for products in production, including resolving production problems, repairing failed products, and improving test procedures.
• Investigate and repair warranty claims, ensuring customer satisfaction and prevention of reoccurrence.
• Design and develop small engineering jobs (electronic hardware, embedded and PC-based software), for minor product changes or new accessories, and provide quotes for the work.
• Repair products for customers as a chargeable service, ensuring they pass production tests and meet customer satisfaction.
• Assist product development teams and support junior engineers
• Actively contribute to improving company procedures.

About you:

You’re a hands-on kind of person who is determined and precise in their work. You have a passion for electronics, and like working in small close-knit teams. You’re also someone who seeks out variety, relieved to know that no two days will be the same.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

• Diploma in electronic engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in board-level service and repair of electronics.
• Experience in several different phases of the product development lifecycle.
• Positive, cooperative, and supportive attitude.
• High degree of self-motivation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
• Willingness to adhere to written procedures and interact effectively with stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Experience in manufacturing products.
• Experience in developing automated test jigs.
• Proficiency in software development for supporting test automation and integration.
