Flexible, Hybrid Working:
Our office is for you to use as much as you like; as a minimum this role will work from either our Sydney office or our Melbourne Office at least 1-2 times a week.

Key   Responsibilities

A Sales Development Researcher aims to develop quality sales leads to build the sales pipeline. In tis 12 month fixed term contract you will be working closely with the Head of Sales Development and our Sales Development Representatives to research our ideal client profile accounts and contacts uncovering those that have a propensity to engage with Reward Gateway. A key focus will also be building out our addressable market within our CRM at the account and contact level. Other responsibilities will involve, data hygiene and data upload management, supporting the consultancy team on research projects, and identifying areas of focus. Main duties include:

  • Using Linkedin Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Zoominfo, and a vast array of online business media sources to gather intelligence to create content for targeted sales leads aligned with our Ideal Client Profile
  • Collating this intelligence and clearly documenting it for regular handovers with the sales development team
  • Carrying our research for the purpose of creating reports and presentations on the market opportunities within the APAC region. These will inform our go-to market strategy.
  • Keep up to date and ahead of HR and employee engagement industry trends, hot topics, company news and ensure key contacts are mapped 
  • Keeping all information on Salesforce.com accurate and up to date at all times
  • Building strong relationships with the Australian sales and marketing team, with a close relationship focus with the sales development representatives 
  • Constantly being measured on the quality of research and response rates from our outbound sales approaches 
  • Consistently hitting targets on lead generation and opportunity creation/pipeline 
  • Support Growth Marketing Manager and Head of Sales Development in data management

Skills

  • Experience within a sales or online research capacity preferable but not essential 
  • High degree of curiosity 
  • Excellent copywriting and written skills 
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to build internal relationships 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Comfortable working with high volumes of data

  • Telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition Team 
  • Take home assessment 
  • Final stage interview and presentation of assessment with our Head of Sales Development, Australia, and our Sales Director, Australia, either online or in person.
