Job Description - Enablement Analyst

Job Description:

Better and fairer care.  Always.

St Vincent's has been a leader in Australia's health and aged care landscape for more than 165 years. Since our founders, the Sisters of Charity, opened our first hospital in 1857, our services and nearly 30,000 people have been behind some of Australia's most important medical breakthroughs. We are a microcosm of Australia’s health and aged care system and are uniquely positioned to lead and respond to our rapidly changing environment.

We are looking for a special kind of person - a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts excellence, compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do. Bring data to life and drive better care outcomes.

At St Vincent’s Health Australia, we are committed to delivering exceptional and compassionate care across hospitals, aged care, and community services. As part of our Digital & Technology team, this role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making to improve patient outcomes and organisational performance.

About the role

The Enablement Analyst sits at the intersection of business and data, transforming complex information into clear, actionable insights. You will partner with stakeholders across clinical, operational, and corporate teams to uplift how data is understood and used across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate complex data into compelling insights and visual stories that inform decisions
  • Gather and challenge business requirements to ensure meaningful, outcome-driven metrics
  • Develop and maintain integrated datasets across multiple systems
  • Build dashboards and analytics solutions (Power BI and similar tools)
  • Act as product owner for analytics assets, managing backlog and continuous improvement
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine KPIs, improve data quality, and uplift data literacy
  • Ensure consistent, governed, and scalable reporting across the organisation

About you

  • Proven experience in analytics, BI, or data enablement roles
  • Strong skills in Power BI (or similar), SQL, and data visualisation
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable insights
  • Experience working with complex, multi-system data environments
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative approach

Why join us?

  • Work with purpose in a leading not-for-profit health organisation
  • Contribute to meaningful outcomes impacting patient care
  • Join a collaborative, values-led and inclusive culture
  • Be part of a growing data and analytics capability

The Enablement Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across St Vincent’s Health Australia. By transforming complex data into actionable insights, this role supports operational efficiency, clinical excellence, and strategic planning. It ensures that leaders and teams have timely, accurate, and meaningful intelligence to improve patient outcomes, optimise resources, and drive continuous improvement. Acting as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, the role enhances organisational capability in analytics and fosters a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
