Job Title: Enrolled Nurse (EN) Aged Care

Location: Various Regional & Metropolitan Locations Across Australia

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Casual

About the Role:

Nursiecare Recruitment is seeking dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join our network of aged care facilities across Australia. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to elderly residents in line with Australian Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver person-centred care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Administer medications (if medication endorsed) and monitor the health and wellbeing of residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Accurately document and update resident records and care activities.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols and workplace health and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents conditions and escalate appropriately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Essential:

• Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121 or equivalent) Completed and recognised in Australia
• AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) Current and unrestricted
• Valid Police Check (National Criminal History Check) Dated within 12 months
• Current First Aid & CPR Certification
• Evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccinations (as per facility policy)
• Medication endorsement (if applicable for scope of practice)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards

Desirable:

• Previous experience in aged care or residential care facility
• Manual handling and infection control training
• Familiarity with clinical documentation systems (e.g., iCare, AutumnCare, LeeCare)
