You will be supported by your colleagues Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Educators, and Nurse Unit Managers. We have specific education teams for each of our services within the hospital, who tailor education to support the individual learning needs of the staff and help you upskill to achieve your desired goals.

As the only trauma centre outside of the Sydney Metropolitan area, The John Hunter Hospital provides tertiary emergency and trauma care specialised complex surgical and medical care to a population of over 900,000 community members from across Hunter New England Local Health District.
