Flinders Port Holdings own and operate Flinders Adelaide Container Terminal, the port of Port Adelaide as well as the six key regional ports of Port Giles, Port Lincoln, Wallaroo, Port Pirie, Klein Point and Thevenard.

Role Overview
The Environment Business Partner plays a key role in supporting strategic initiatives and projects and ensuring environmental compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide input to the Group’s Environment Strategy and report on progress;
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence and support aligned outcomes;
Provide technical advice across a variety of environment areas including contaminated land, water, air and noise quality, radiation management, circular economy, nature and environmental approvals;
Support implementation and review of the Group’s certified ISO14001 environmental management system; and
Identify environmental risks and opportunities associated with new and existing activities and major projects.
About you
You have previous experience working in large, complex organisations in a similar role and you have a tertiary qualification in science, environmental management, environmental engineering or equivalent experience.
You have experience liaising with the South Australian Environment Protection Authority and you have a deep understanding of environmental legislation, regulatory requirements, and contemporary approaches to sustainability in corporate and operational businesses.
You are accustomed to developing and maintaining environmental management systems and have an understanding of risk management protocols, management systems and frameworks.
