As a Senior Consultant in our leading Transaction Services team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial due diligence and advisory services that empower clients to confidently navigate complex transactions. You’ll partner with global and domestic private equity firms, infrastructure investors, ASX-listed companies, and large privately owned businesses to uncover the financial fundamentals that underpin value, enabling informed decisions that maximise outcomes in sales or acquisitions.

Deals Transaction Services have teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver sharp, commercially relevant financial due diligence insights and high-quality reports that support major transactions and amplify value for our clients
• Provide financial analysis across buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements, unlocking critical business drivers and risk factors
• Deeply understand client businesses to identify key value drivers, equipping clients with actionable insights that build confidence and accelerate deal success
• Leverage PwC’s cutting-edge technologies —including AI and advanced analytics to transform how you work, enhance client experiences, and continuously grow your digital expertise
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders and empower junior team members through coaching and constructive feedback, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth
• Be part of a dynamic team where your commercial acumen and innovative mindset shape transformative deals and drive lasting impact

What we’re looking for:

• Team player with a positive “can do” mindset to problems who thrives under challenges across multiple engagements 
• Background in transaction services, assurance services (e.g. external audit), corporate finance or valuations 
• Proficiency in using digital tools and emerging technologies in financial analysis 
• Able to analyse complex financial information and communicate findings in a clear, compelling, and understandable manner to clients, stakeholders, and team members 
• Strong commercial and business acumen with a keen eye on market trends, ability to assess business opportunities and provide strategic insights that enhance client value 
• Act with integrity and care with the interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships internally and with clients
• Professional accounting qualifications and/or degree in commerce/finance, CA/CPA, CFA Finsia, MBA, Masters in Finance, Applied Finance, or similar
