AFGRI Equipment, WA’s largest John Deere dealer network and a leading provider of agricultural machinery and services is seeking a talented Equipment Inventory Manager to join our team in Perth.
Responsibilities
- Works with sales management to accurately manage retail and stock orders with vendors in a timely manner
- Generates various sales activity and inventory reports for sales management as needed
- Ensures equipment information in the dealer business system is accurate
- Works closely with sales managers and sales professionals to gather feedback and understand developing trends
- Review order terms and conditions and communicates in a timely manner to sales management
- Works closely with the finance department to oversee floorplan facilities and actively communicates to management
- Manages transfers of equipment to and from branches as well as other John Deere dealer groups
- Supervises internal and external inventory audits to verify inventory records are accurate
- Communicates with sales management and sales staff on factory availability and order status
- Communicates regularly with other departments on sales deals, attachments, and inventory activities
- Understand sustainable used equipment inventory levels by product category and distribution of inventory among locations
- Coordinates logistics to meet company goals and expectations
- Continually build knowledge in product knowledge; procurement systems; inventory management principles; and communication skills.
- Perform additional work-related duties as requested by Management
Skills And Experience
- 3+ years whole goods and/or logistics experience
- Knowledge of machinery equipment preferred but not essential
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to analyse and generate reports
