Equipment/Facility Technician (Maintenance Person)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment/Facility Technician to join our world-class facility, servicing one of Global CTDI's most esteemed customers. Based in the Western Sydney region, the Equipment/Facilty Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and production processes. From performing routine preventive maintenance to responding to emergency repair requests, you'll use your expertise in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more to keep our operations running efficiently.  This is an onsite role.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform repairs to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors on major repair and renovation projects
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues effectively
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and address them proactively
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

The successful candidates will hold the following experience:  

• Relevant Trades Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in building management and/or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and grounds maintenance
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively
• Experience coordinating outside vendors and contractors
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
