About the role:

We’re looking for a motivated  Estimator to join our team at our Regent park office. In this role, you’ll manage end to end tender submissions and project planning, with a strong focus on quality assurance and safety. You’ll also be supported by experienced mentors who will guide your development and help you succeed.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Own the tender from site inspection through to operational handover.


• Lead the bid, understand the bid documents, scope of works and contractual requirements.


• Development of work breakdown activities, cost rates for skilled labor and trade activities.


• Analyse and measure risk of each tender and necessary projections for the project.


• Ability to dissect tender packages, compile and prepare client returnable documentation.


• Provide input on the project planning process to ensure optimum efficiency and lead times are met.


• Actively seek suitable tendering opportunities and develop relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractors.
  
  

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 1-2  years' experience in Estimating preferably in Asset Remediation, Civil Construction, Infrastructure or Defense environment. 


• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management desirable.


• Construction Induction White Card.


• Experience in preparing Bill of Quantities for Protective Coatings, Protective Linings, Concrete Repairs, Cathodic Protection, Waterproof Coatings and or other such related remedial construction type activities Desirable bur not Essential)


• Sound experience compiling complex tenders and pricing.


• Intermediate to advanced level skills in MS Office package (excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc).
