Bretts Timber and Hardware have been a mainstay of the Brisbane building industry for over 100 years with 5 major divisions all stemming from our timber and hardware origins. With over 300 staff and 9 locations we provide an outstanding level of service to our clients.

Our Architectural Window and Doors division is a leading supplier and installer of aluminium doors to mid and top tier builders and our range includes the high end Sky-Frame and Reynaers Window Systems.

The Role

Our Estimators work closely with Sales and production teams to deliver the estimation and management of medium to large projects in the prestige, residential and apartment construction sector. Focussing on aluminium doors and windows, you will be responsible for all aspects of estimating including:

• Client and stakeholder liaison
• Pricing and take offs
• Site report and tender pack reviews
• Labour requirements and risk management
• Site meetings

The Person

You will be a client focussed team player with a minimum of 3 years similar experience. You will have the ability to prepare and interpret plans and reports, with a solid understanding of building methodology and Australian standards.

Preferred experience includes:

• Softech V6 knowledge
• Working knowledge of Autocad and AWS systems
• Client and Stakeholder communication
