Estimator/Project Manager- Skin in the Game!

You’re a brilliant Estimator & Project Manager, and you could get a job easily through your own network/contacts, but you’re looking for something special.

You’re tired of working in businesses or with owners who breathe down your neck, are always telling you how you should be doing things, or overriding your authority and undermining you. You want to work for someone who empowers & trusts you to really own your role and let’s you take the lead.

You’re not willing/ready/able to open your own business, but you want to feel like you have real skin in the game and are a truly trusted part of a business. You want to have something like profit shares or bonuses that are tied to your performance, so that you can prove how valuable you are.

This role is a pretty special opportunity. You will be working as an Estimator/Project Manager for PSTasmania. The current owner Kyle has a lot of opportunity to grow the commercial side of the business, but his focus is split between the commercial side, the residential side and also the general management of the business. Because of this, the full potential of the commercial area of the business is not being met.

Here is where you come in. You will be given the reins of the commercial part of the business and Kyle will fully empower you to own the area, get creative, bring your expertise and call the shots. He will give you bonuses/profit/shares, all of this is negotiable, but the key is he wants you to feel like you have true skin in the game.

He isn’t a micromanager, and wants you to be autonomous and will trust you to run your team and your jobs. He is a good ma who is investing a lot into his team and company to take it to the next level.

They’re on a great growth journey, are very stable, and this next hire will be key in taking the business to the next level.
