About the role
The Evaluator plays a pivotal role in program evaluation to support high quality evaluation of departmental programs and initiatives that help to shape effective program delivery and policies in education.
We are seeking a skilled professional to join the Evaluation & Effectiveness team within the NSW Department of Education’s Centre for Education Statistics and Evaluation. In this role, you will contribute to high-profile evaluations across schools and early childhood education and care settings and will contribute to the evidence base for department priorities including Universal Preschool.
Your strength in designing evaluation tools such as surveys and discussion guides, facilitating data collection through in-depth interviews and focus groups, and applying qualitative coding and analysis techniques will be highly regarded. You will play a key role in planning and delivering culturally responsive evaluations, visiting schools and ECEC services across the state to implement data collection, and report writing.
