Our Events team are currently looking for a part-time or full-time Events Coordinator to join the team for 4 months. This role will be responsible for supporting the execution of events including Staff Camp, Hillsong Conference, and supporting the preparation and execution of additional events and services.
Other aspects of this role include:
Conferences
Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of Conference and special events, including (but not limited to):
Project Timeline
Logistical planning and outworking of various areas, including supply & resource management, bump in, bump out, logistics, operations
Working closely with venues and suppliers, ensuring all related information is delivered in a timely and professional manner
Work with suppliers & external companies, establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with them
Manage budgets for allocated areas, including tracking & payments.
Coordinating with relevant departments
Staff Camp
Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of Staff Camp and special events, including:
Travel for Interstate Staff
Oversee check-in procedure
Project Timeline
Budget Tracking
Payment Requests
Coordinating with relevant departments
Volunteer management & accommodation
Supply & resource management
Events Administration
Attend meetings with relevant people to provide info required to outwork special events, Hillsong Conference, and Staff Camp
Special Event supply orders and management (including storage)
Special Events budget planning and management, including payment requests and monthly reconciliation of corporate cards.
Ideally, the successful candidate will bring:
Event Management or similar qualification desirable (but not essential)
Previous Event Coordination experience desirable
Previous administration experience desirable
Ability to develop and work with volunteers.
Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and oral).
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
Ability to liaise with all levels of management, people, and staff.
Ability to meet deadlines.
