This not-for-profit client, based in Deakin are seeking a detail orientated executive assistant to provide support to the CEO and across the organisation to facilitate the delivery of business operations and the achievement of organisational objectives.
This is a position that has become available due to growth within the organisation. It is a permanent role and one that will see you grow within the business quickly with the right attitude and work ethic. Okay, so what will you be doing in the role? The Executive Assistant has a primary responsibility for co-ordinating workflow by managing the CEO’s diary appointments, travel arrangements and scheduling and supporting meetings. You will be delivering a high level of quality in terms of business support to the organisation through resolving issues, provision of accurate information and the timely effective resolution of issues, taking meeting minutes for board meetings and and ensuring all matters are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
We are wanting someone who is going to take real ownership of this role and ensure that work is delegated and followed up appropriately and that there is timely escalation of important issues to the CEO and the broader organisation.
This means that you are someone that is coming with experience in managing inboxes previously and is someone with exceptional communication skills to external stakeholders.
To be successful for this position, you will need to bring with you four years of previous business support experience, high level of organisational skills and a good understanding of information communication technology. What else is required in this role? You will undertake a range of HR support activities, be responsible for vendor management whilst also evaluating office and administrative practices to optimise efficiency and support the delivery of quality outcomes and much more!
