Job Description - Executive Assistant

Plunkett Homes is searching for an exceptional Executive Assistant (EA) to join our fast-paced and dedicated team!

In this role, you will be the key support system for our General Manager (GM), ensuring their day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. You'll also provide administrative assistance to the Building and Operations Managers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the GM's calendar, emails, and reports, keeping them on top of their schedule and priorities.
  • Coordinate and assist with meetings, preparing agendas, presentations, and distributing minutes.
  • Organise events, manage social club activities, and acknowledge staff milestones.
  • Maintain a positive and professional presence, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilise your computer skills and be ready to tackle a variety of tasks, supporting different departments when needed.
  • Assisting the GM with social media profiles including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Provide wider team with weekly updates regarding staff movements, parking availability and any other relevant information.
  • Varied tasks that you may be asked to assist with, including but not limited to; filling in for staff on leave, assisting the Senior Managers with one-off projects or an ongoing task. This part of the job can provide great variety, an ability to learn new things and broaden your knowledge. 

We're looking for someone who:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multitasking.
  • Possesses exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
  • Works independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience as an EA or similar administrative role.
  • Knowledge of the building industry (not mandatory).
